TYPO expands. Launching this year with the slogan “Unlock the Magic Behind Fonts”, TYPO Labs is a new conference that will concentrate on the technical aspects of type design.

The first of these new, annual trade meetings, with workshops, Q&A sessions and discussion will be held 10–11 May 2016, in the creative hub FORUM Factory in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district. Following the font engineers’ conference, TYPO Berlin will once open in the House of World Cultures for three days, starting 12 May, dedicated to exploring new currents in design culture.
