Exhibition Flags of Peace opens 18 September 2015

This Friday 18 September sees the first exhibition of Flags of Peace take place at De Pier in The Hague. The exhibition runs 18–21 September as part of the Just Peace festival.

Officially, there is no single, global peace flag. Flags of Peace is a project initiated to explore possible solutions to this undetermined icon by opening it up to the entire world.   Throughout history there have been many attempts to establish a peace flag and there are several symbols that represent what we know as peace.

@FlagsofPeace There’s already a well-recognized symbol. Why mess with it?
